Oh my!

It has just struck me that in January we will become a family of 7.

This brings on great responsibility.

Like finding a dining room table for 8--at least. If we can't find one bigger, we'll never have any guests for supper!
Or, affording a house large enough for 5 children and a homeschool. Yikes!
Or, thinking down the road a bit, college for all 5 of them! At some point, they could all be in college at the same time. Yikes! I'm actually hoping they all get full paid scholarships. I'm going to push them to excellence in our homeschool and demand perfection....only half joking.
Or, juggling 3 homeschoolers, a toddler and a newborn. Yikes!
Or, finding and affording a babysitter for all five youngens so Beloved and I can actually have a night out together once in a blue moon.
Or, birthday's, Christmas, etc., etc., etc., for the next 20 years.

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

Two words: Kid's Table. We spent our entire youths at a separate table from the 8-12 adults that made up our family gatherings. We don't seem to have suffered any permanent harm. ;-)

The thing that kept comforting me during my recent (5th as well) pregnancy is that in the Bible, 7 is a number of completeness. A holy number, if you will.
Suits me to get off at this bus stop! LOL
