Manipulation made manifest

Seems in today's world, many people are focussed on things like getting the new HD television upgrade, having a newer car, buying a new house, watching that new HD television.
We are ever manipulated by the internet and the fun of playing all those expensive computer games we just installed on our new computer.
We are focussed on things like which presidential candidate agrees with my moral view points on marriage, abortion and taxes. Who looks like a president, which one looks like that crazy guy from 8 years ago--that one that had white hair with the big ears?
We are focussed on why God would allow shootings in schools, or terrorists flying planes into twin towers.

Yet, we have missed something so important. We have had our time manipulated and consumed by all our 'good intentions' for the 'better good.'

What have we missed?

In 2005, a bill was made law. That law is the REAL ID Act of 2005. If you haven't heard about it, you'd better investigate. This is serious stuff, folks, and it's being done without your consent.

I would like to draw everyones attention to the bottom of the article highlighted above. It states:

Anthony Romero, the executive director of ACLU, stated: "... Real ID is an unfunded mandate that violates the Constitution's 10th Amendment on state powers, destroys states' dual sovereignty and consolidates every American's private information, leaving all of us far more vulnerable to identity thieves."

and...

On January 25, 2007, a Resolution passed overwhelmingly in the Maine Legislature that refuses implementation of the Real ID Act in that state, and demands Congress repeal the law. Many Maine lawmakers believe the law does more harm than good, that it would be a bureaucratic nightmare to enforce, is threatening to individual privacy, makes citizens increasingly vulnerable to ID theft, and would cost Maine taxpayers at least $185 million in five years because of the massive unfunded federal mandates on all the states. The Resolution vote in the Maine House was 137-4 and in the Maine Senate unanimously, 34-0.

Maine is just one of the states opposed to this new national mandate for a national id card. It is imperative that every American know their rights and fight for them. This is the real deal folks. If you know anything or remember anything from the book of Revelation, this is prophecy unfolding!

This id card is just the first step. Next comes the chip implant!

One more thing, of the presidential candidates, McCain strongly supports the REAL ID, Paul and Obama vehemently oppose it, Clinton says she needs to 'review' it, and Huckabee says, "It is a grave mistake."
