Whinese

There is a new language my toddler is using. It is Whinese.
He has been using it for a couple of weeks now, and today it hit me. Don't speak to him!
Duh! With every other child at this stage of whining, I just told them, "I don't speak Whinese. You'll have to speak English if you want to talk to me."
It's always worked before. We'll see about Levi.
His constant, "I want to do this (insert whiny voice)," or "I want to go to Nanna PawPaw's house," is driving me insane.
So, today I decided to ignore him. I just am not going to tolerate the whining.

Hopefully by Christmas he will be speaking English only.

Whinese! I love it! LOL My 3.5 year old, Jared, is well-spoken in that language. LOL I tell him all the time, "You have to speak nice English if you want me to understand you" but now I think I'll test out the "no Whinese" LOL so fun

by the way, I don't know if knitting is easier than crochet as I've never crocheted, but I learned to knit right after Christmas last year on knittinghelp.com and haven't found it very difficult!! It shows little videos on how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, bind off, and some fancier stuff I haven't gotten into yet. I've made all sorts of baby hats in varying sizes, one baby blanket, a handful of scarves, and now the skirt and headband (weird the pictures didn't show up, they're working when I just looked!) anyway, sorry to jack your post to mention that stuff, but I didn't know where else to answer your question!! LOL
