This Week 'In The News'

Okay, the moment you've all (all two of you!) been waiting for! First, a picture of what the walls in each room looked like before I painted. Let me just say, I've been living in this colorless house for over a year now. I am now inspired and thinking I can change the mood of the entire house if I just paint color on the walls! Now I am ready to paint the whole house, but first I need a break from my hard work.

Ethan and Elijah's room looks so great. Red on top, navy on bottom, it is a combination of their favorite colors. I will eventually put a great sports border between the two colors, but for now it looks great. Also note the coordinating bedding! I just hadn't put their blankets on yet.

Melody's Room is prettier than this picture lets on. It is a beautiful Dusty Pink Rose color. Beloved even likes it! (and he HATES pink) I can't wait until she gets home and sees her beautiful room. She's gonna love it!

This is the final product of Levi's room. So cute. The top half is a nice buttery yellow, the bottom is a royal blue, and in the middle is this great border I found at WalMart.com. It's called "Little Big Trucks." So cute!

Finally, here is my 33 week profile. She's getting bigger. Everything is starting to feel tight around my middle. I love this part of pregnancy, people really know you are pregnant, and not just fat or something!

pregnancy due date

So, things I've noticed this week, especially while the kiddos are gone:
more energy
better sleep
no aches or pains
slight tenderness in my right hip, that little Sofia has decided is her pillow
and, I am remembering to take frequent rest periods.

I began taking flax seed oil and chlorophyl this week. I also quit taking those homeopathic remedies when my friend said she would not tell me what is in them. "Isn't that why I don't take pharmecueticals?" I thought. I mean, doctors and drug manufacturers don't tell you all the ingredients that are in their drugs, and a homeopath is trying to get me to take her 'drugs' but doesn't want to tell me what is in them? I mean really!
Anyway. I feel much better, that may be do to the kiddos being gone, but I'm not achy like I was before. I'm going to work on getting more rest and more exercise. This week of painting has been refreshing and energizing. Forgot how actually moving out of one place can help you feel better!

Oh my gosh Leah. I hate to have to tell you this...and maybe it's just my twisted mind. But, that first picture...walls were not what I thought of. I immediately thought you had a close-up of something else. Use your imagination and if you can't figure it out, email me and I'll fill you in. I know...can you tell I only have brothers?

The rooms look beautiful! I am glad you were able to have a time of rest and productive relaxation before the baby comes. Pray you have a Merry Christmas!
